I’m glad you’re here to find about who I am and why I’m here (here, as in this blog, writing stuff).
I’m a New Yorker working in the counseling / art therapy field. I’m currently a counselor of sorts, which involves mostly talking and writing, so I’m trying to make more opportunities for creative expression (since I’m an artist and art therapist at heart).
I also have a secret nagging feeling that even though clinical and medical art therapy can be very useful, art therapy can be way more versatile than that.
The idea of using creativity and art for our well-being can be very practical and flexible, so that our daily life can change through journaling and creative self-care practices.
But this blog is not just creativity – I share about everything else that helps me have a creative, wholesome life – journaling, mindfulness, spiritual growth, and making heart-centered, intentional choices.
So come join me in my musings and the things that spark light in me.
(A side note: As a way to include contemporary artists’ works and many awesome artworks out there, I am featuring photos/artworks/journal pages of others in my blog posts. Please check out the links in each post to see the artists’ works. They’re amazing!)
If you want to know more about art therapy, read an intro here.

If you want to work with me to find a creative and fulfilling life, come here.
Don’t want to do reading? (Hey, me too). Then just enjoy some pictures I take here.
